Despite leaving Sunday's game against Minnesota with an irregular heartbeat, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is expected to play in the Texans' season finale.
AFC South injury report: Arian Foster expected to play in Week 17
After leaving Sunday’s game with an irregular heartbeat, Houston’s Arian Foster is expected to play in Week 17.

On Sunday, Foster called the issue a “very minor situation” but tweeted everything was “back to normal” on Monday. Houston head coach Gary Kubiak said team doctors ran some additional tests with Foster, but everything turned out positive.
While Foster is likely to be on the field Sunday, the same can't be said for Jacksonville wide receiver Cecil Shorts. Shorts suffered a concussion on Sunday, his second since Week 13, and isn't likely to play in the season finale. Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew continues to work his way back from injury, but Jacksonville head coach Mike Mularkey said Jones-Drew was "pretty questionable" to play Sunday.
Tennessee running back Chris Johnson left Sunday’s game against Green Bay with an ankle injury was was able to return later in the game. He ran for just 28 yards on 11 carries, but the ankle isn’t expected to keep him out of action in the season finale.
