Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles broke his hand on Sunday against the Redskins and will now miss the season finale against the New York Giants.
Nick Foles suffers broken hand, Michael Vick likely to start Week 17
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles broke his hand against Washington and will not play in the season finale.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Foles suffered a hairline fracture against Washington. Reid said Foles injured his hand on the second-to-last play of the first half. Despite the injury, Foles remained in the game during the second half. The injury is expected to take three weeks to heal and shouldn't limit Foles' offseason. Foles started Philadelphia's last six games, first as an injury replacement for Michael Vick before eventually being named the starter for the rest of the season. The 23-year-old rookie threw for 1,699 yards and six touchdowns this season.
With Foles out, Vick is expected to return to the starting lineup. Vick started Philadelphia’s first nine games before suffering a concussion and later being demoted in favor of Foles. With his long-term status in Philadelphia in doubt, Sunday could be his final start in an Eagles’ uniform. Vick completed 58.5 percent of his passes this season while throwing for 2,165 yards and 11 touchdowns.
