The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, who both at one point in 2012 thought their respective seasons to have been lost, will be playing for the NFC East division title on Sunday night. Most experts seem to be divided as to who should really be the favorite in the game, with the majority of the picks leading toward Washington.

Joel Thorman of SB Nation picks the Redskins to prevail in a tight game:

A belated Christmas present for football fans. This game is on Sunday night, and it should be a beauty. The Redskins have now won six-straight games. Incredibly, they were 3-6 at one point. The dream season will continue and everyone will get the gift they wanted -- RGIII in the playoffs.

Three of the eight experts at USA Today believe the Cowboys will win, and the two human experts polled at Yahoo! Sports are split between Washington and Dallas.

Six out of nine of those making picks at CBS Sports have chosen the Redskins to win at home in a game the Cowboys must win in order to make the postseason. Against the spread, with Washington favored by 3.5 points, four of eight experts expected the Redskins to cover.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday night with coverage on NBC Sports.
