Raiders running back Darren McFadden carried the ball just 11 times against the Broncos on Thursday night before he left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. After the game, Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen told Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle that the injury was to the same ankle that had been previously hurt, although the severity of the injury was not yet known.

The Raiders running back hasn’t played in more than 13 games in a season in his NFL career.


McFadden, 25, was limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday before participating in full on Wednesday, He was listed as probable for the game, but finished with just 11 carries for 52 yards and two receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown.
In his fifth season in the NFL, McFadden has played in nine games, but has never participated in more than 13 games in a season. He has missed a total of 23 games since being selected with the fourth overall selection of the 2008 NFL Draft.
