The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 23-21, on a last-second touchdown pass from Nick Foles to Jeremy Maclin. For Tampa Bay, the loss may result in the end of their playoff hopes, especially with wins by the Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Foles led the Eagles to two touchdowns in the final 4:03 of the game. The first, a 13-yard strike to backup tight end Clay Harbor, capped off an eight-play, 72-yard drive that answered Doug Martin's 4-yard run which put the Bucs up by two scores at the time. Then, after getting the ball back with less than three minutes remaining in the game, the Eagles marched 64 yards down field on 13 plays, ending with Foles' pass to Maclin with two seconds left.

The Buccaneers fell to 6-7 on the season, while the Eagles avoided their 10th loss, and sit at 4-9.

Stat of the game
Eagles quarterback Nick Foles completed 32-of-51 passes for 381 yards, which shattered the team’s rookie record for passing yards in a single game.

Fantasy studs
Foles obviously deserves mention here, adding two touchdown passes and a rushing score to his record-breaking day through the air. Jason Avant and Jeremy Maclin benefitted from Foles’ big day, as both eclipsed the century mark in receiving yards.

On the other side, Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin and wide receiver Vincent Jackson came up big, each eclipsing 100 yards while picking up a touchdown apiece.
