Adrian Peterson Injury: Vikings RB Starts Running

Adrian Peterson ran last week for the first since tearing his ACL in December. In an interview with Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 Radio, Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said the star running back looked good during the session and is still on schedule with his rehab.

“Did a great job,” Frazier said. “Everybody was impressed. Our trainer, Eric Sugarman, was really impressed with his movement and the things he was able to do. He’s on schedule. He’s doing well.”

Peterson has stated that he would like to be back on the field by Week 1, though it’s unclear if that’s likely. He didn’t start running until a month after the late February date he predicted. Regardless, Vikings fans have to be encouraged that so far there haven’t any major setbacks to speak of.
