New York Giants' cornerback Brian Witherspoon may once again be out for the season. He had to be carted off the field after going down during Wednesday's OTAs. Head coach Tom Coughlin didn't sugarcoat his thoughts:
Giants’ Brian Witherspoon Hurts ACL Again
Brian Witherspoon could miss the 2012 season after suffering what appears to be yet another ACL injury during OTAs on Wednesday.

“I’m afraid it was an ACL,” Coughlin said after the workout.
Witherspoon missed the 2011 season after tearing his ACL last August. The fifth-year cornerback and return specialist hasn't recorded meaningful minutes in an NFL game since 2009 with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fellow corner Antwaun Molden, acquired from the New England Patriots, also had to be carted off the field Wednesday with a hamstring injury. There is not official word yet on the status of either player.
The Giants have had constant injury problems in the secondary the past few seasons. Rookie Prince Amukamara played in just seven regular season games last season after suffering a broken foot. Terrell Thomas missed the year with a torn ACL.
