PSA To NFL Players: Don’t Let The Franchise Tag You

This week's "Bomani & Jones" could be considered a public service announcement for millionaires. You'd think they would never need anything charitable, but the franchise tag in the NFL makes me want to give some guys a hug. We could have picked Ray Rice for this, but we chose Wes Welker. Why? Because he actually said he hoped that the Patriots would do right by him.

Last time I checked, the Pats were a football team. A team with a “Way” that convinces people that taking less money is something to be proud of. Sure, Wes. The Pats will take great care of you.

Anyway, it’s clear Wes needs some words of wisdom from “Bomani & Jones.” Lucky for him, we like to help.
