Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested for a DUI and attempting to elude police, according to Fox10TV in Mobile. The Alabama native and former Auburn star was pulled over around 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning, and was arrested and charged with DUI. According to reports from Mobile, he was also ticketed for reckless driving, having an open container and no proof of insurance. Fairley posted $1750 bond and was released around 9:00 a.m. ET Sunday morning.

This is Fairley’s second arrest this offseason, with both occurring in the Mobile area in the past two months. The first run-in with the law was for marijuana possession. Sean Yullie of SB Nation’s Lions’ blog, Pride of Detroit, thinks a suspension could be coming Fairley’s way:

Clearly, Fairley didn't learn from the mistake he made earlier in the offseason. He has now been arrested twice in two months, with the most recent charge involving a DUI and attempting to elude police. At this point, I think it's safe to say he will be facing a suspension. We've been talking about how long Mikel Leshoure will be suspended for being caught with marijuana on two separate occasions, and it seems likely that Fairley's arrests for marijuana possession and a DUI will land him in trouble with Roger Goodell.
