Josh Scobee has agreed to a four-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union. Scobee has spent his entire nine-year career with the Jags. He was drafted by the team in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

Josh Scobee agreed to a four-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday, according to reports. Financial terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Scobee is career 78.8 percent field goal kicker. He had arguably the best season his career in 2011, going 23-for-25 on his field goal attempts while playing a full 16-game slate. He made a career high six field goals of 50 yards or longer.
If the Jaguars had been unable to sign Scobee to a long-term deal by 4 p.m. ET, the veteran kicker would have had to play under the franchise tag next season for $2.88 million. The financial terms of his new contract have not yet been disclosed.
