The New York Giants conducted a handful of roster moves Thursday, and the team's 2009 second-round draft pick, linebacker Clint Sintim, was removed from the roster. Sintim, a product of the University of Virginia, was waived along with defensive end Justin Trattou after he failed a physical.

Over a three year period, staying healthy was a big problem for Sintim who played in just 24 games, made 11 solo tackles and one sack for New York. Last season, Sintim missed the season because of a knee injury. In 2010, Sintim tore his right ACL as well as the patella tendon in the Giants final preseason game against the New England Patriots.
In Sintim's place, the Giants signed defensive tackle Bobby Skinner, while cornerback/kick returner Laron Scott will take Trattou's spot. Trattou has been unable to practice because of heel and ankle injuries suffered early in camp.
