Jags Vs. Saints Final Score: Blaine Gabbert, Justin Blackmon Solid In 27-24 Thriller

Jordan Palmer completed an 11-yard strike over the middle to rookie wide receiver Kevin Elliott to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars past the New Orleans Saints in thrilling fashion on Friday night.

The play came on fourth down and capped a 12-play, 74-yard drive that took only 1:40 to complete after New Orleans scored with two minutes left in the game to give the Saints a 24-20 lead. But it was Palmer's late-game heroics that would seal the fate of the depleted Saints.

Blaine Gabbert was impressive in the contest, completing 13-of-16 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns, including one impressive throw to first-round pick Justin Blackmon that displayed pinpoint accuracy and a good pocket presence.

Blackmon posted solid numbers, grabbing four passes for 48 yards, including the touchdown catch.

For the Saints, Chase Daniel completed 16-of-21 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns.
