Arizona Cardinals left tackle Levi Brown left Friday night's NFL preseason game against the Oakland Raiders with an injury to his right tricep. The injury happened in the second quarter of Arizona's 31-27 win over Oakland -- the team's first win of the preseason -- at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Brown hasn't missed a start since coming into the NFL as a rookie in 2007, and if he is to be out for any substantial period of time, his absence creates a serious hole at tackle for Arizona. Lyle Sendlein, the Cardinals center, told The Arizona Republic just how much Levi Brown means to both the team and the offensive line:

“He’s probably our most vocal and hard-working leader we had on our offense,” center Lyle Sendlein said of Brown. “It’s not like you can just call 1-800-left tackle. It’s the most important position on the offensive line. We’re just hoping that everything is all right.”
