Steelers Vs. Colts Score Update: Colts Hang Onto 24-20 Lead Through 3 Quarters

The Steelers were able to tie the game with a Danny Hrapmann field goal early in the third quarter, but the Colts fired right back with a touchdown drive off their own to regain the lead and hold a 24-20 advantage through three quarters.

Backup Colts quarterback Drew Stanton connected with rookie wide receiver Griff Whalen on a short 4-yard pass to retake the lead. Stanton marched the Indianapolis offense 74 yards on the nine-play drive, going 4-of-7 for 69 yards in the air.

Longtime Steelers backup Charlie Batch put up serviceable numbers in the quarter -- 5-of-6 for 69 yards -- but wasn't able to go all the way, marching up the field on the last drive of the quarter only to get stopped at the Indianapolis 21-yard line. Hrapmann kicked a 39-yard field goal to bring the Steelers within four heading into the final quarter.
