Unhappy with their current crop of defensive backs, the Indianapolis Colts acquired third-year cornerback Josh Gordy from the St. Louis Rams on Tuesday for a 2014 draft pick to be named later, according to The Indianapolis Star's Phillip B. Wilson.

The 25-year-old Gordy went undrafted in 2010 after starring at Central Michigan, but was lucky enough to celebrate a Super Bowl championship with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in his first pro season despite hardly getting to see the field.

He then recorded 43 tackles and three interceptions last season with the Rams during a breakout campaign, and now looks poised to further his development as a dependable NFL corner with the Colts. Still reportedly desperate for as much help as possible across their depleted secondary, Indianapolis' front office is apparently not concerned about shipping away future draft picks in order to patch up holes in the short term.
