Kyle Arrington Injury: Patriots CB Has Back Worked On
The New England Patriots’ starting cornerback Kyle Arrington suffered a bit of an unknown injury in the team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Trainers appeared to be working on his back and side. Arrington left the game and didn’t finish the first half of the contest. His status for the rest of the game is also not yet known, though, he hasn't been seen in the second half on the sidelines.
He was replaced by Ras-I Dowling in the game.
The fourth-year cornerback out of Hofstra is a starter for the team and has been incredibly reliable over the past few seasons. He played in all 16 games for New England in 2010 and 2011. Last season, he was one of the team’s best defensive players with seven interceptions.
The Patriots currently trail the Buccaneers 20-7 in the third quarter and have looked sluggish against Tampa Bay. For more on the game and Arrington’s injury, stay tuned to this Storystream.
