Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jake Long exited practice on Monday after suffering a right leg injury.

Various sources witnessed the injury, with Armando Salguero providing a picture on Twitter. Trainers removed Long’s knee brace while working on his latest injury.

Long, who is entering the final year of his contract, has only missed two games throughout his four-year career with the Dolphins. Despite his durability, Long has been hampered by injuries, and in 2011 suffered injuries to his knee, shoulder and back.

Another leg injury is the last thing Long and the Dolphins need, especially since rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been named Miami's starting quarterback.

Miami selected Jake Long with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, instead of quarterback Matt Ryan or running back Darren McFadden, who went third and fourth overall, respectively.
