The Tennessee Titans have no plans to trade quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak was on NFL AM on Tuesday and talked to insider Steve Wyche about why quarterback Jake Locker was ready to start. Munchak gave a lot of that credit to Hasselbeck's tutelage.

I think Matt is a big reason why Jake is ready to play because their relationship is very unique and that he made a big difference in his career, and I think he will be a big help to him going forward

Munchak also said that keeping Hasselbeck around is important to the Titans team. He also believes that the team could never have enough quality quarterbacks.

We want him here, we believe in him, he’s a big part of this team. Like everyone knows in this league you need two good quarterbacks, usually somehow during the year the quarterback does get bumped up, does miss a game and we feel we have a guy that comes in and we win right away with.

The Titans are scheduled to play their final preseason game against the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
