The NFL will induct cornerback Jack Butler in the Hall Of Fame as a member of the 2012 class. The former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback played in the NFL from 1951-1959 and entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of St. Bonaventure.

When Butler retired in after his ninth season in the NFL at the conclusion of the 1959 season, he left as the league's second all-time leader in interceptions with 52 picks in 103 career games. In Butler's 1953 season, he picked off the quarterback of the Washington Redskins four times in the same game, tying the record for most picks in a game.

Butler was named to the NFL’s 1950 All-Decade team and will now have his bust in the halls of Canton, Ohio, with the rest of the NFL legends.
