The NFL will induct former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy into the NFL Hall Of Fame on Saturday evening, honoring Kennedy's 11-year career. Kennedy played for the Seahawks from 1990 to 2000 after the Seahawks drafted him with the third overall pick in the first-round of the 1990 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.

Former Seattle Seahawks great, defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy, will be inducted into the NFL Hall Of Fame on Saturday afternoon.
Kennedy contributed right away for Seattle and took over as a starter in the lineup in 1991, his second season in the NFL. He was a consistent force for the Seahawks on the defensive line, playing in 167 out of 176 possible games in his career, including a streak of 116 straight games.
Kennedy was voted to the Pro-Bowl eight times in his career and named to the NFL’s All-Pro team five times. Kennedy was named as the NFL’s Defensive Player of the year in 1992, notching a 14 sack season, despite the fact that the Seahawks were just 2-14 on the season.
