Terrell Owens, Seahawks Agree To Terms After Impressive Workout

T.O. had reportedly looked great in an individual workout with the team and is hoping to finish his career on a high note.

Seattle has been determined to find a veteran receiver to improve a unit that struggled last season, looking at any and all options this past offseason. Owens, 39 in December, isn’t the athlete he once was, but perhaps he can develop a nice rhythm with whichever quarterback is named the Seahawks’ starter in the coming weeks.

It was just two months ago that Terrell Owens was cut by the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, forfeiting his ownership share in the team, and offering only a meek statement in return. “I appreciate the opportunity that Mr. Frankel gave me and wish the Allen Wranglers all the best moving forward,” he said through a publicist.

He was given $50 severance. He threatened to sue. Everyone laughed. It was rock bottom.

Despite the solid workout, Owens’ age and being out of the game for over a year has me thinking he won’t make much of an impact anywhere he goes in 2012.
