Chiefs Practice Squad Includes Few Surprises

Here is the complete list of players who made it to the squad:
- WR Josh Bellamy
- FB Patrick DiMarco
- WR Junior Hemingway
- DL Jerome Long
- OL David Mims
- WR Jamar Newsome
- OL Luke Patterson
- DB Neiko Thorpe
Mims, Newsome and Patterson should be familiar names for Chiefs fans, as they each spent some time with Kansas City’s practice squad last season.
Hemingway was the Chiefs’ seventh round pick out of Michigan in the 2012 NFL Draft, and he was waived after injuries limited him to two preseason games, where he caught one pass for 14 yards.
Bellamy is an undrafted wideout from Louisville who turned some heads with a strong training camp performance.
DiMarco, Mims and Patterson are each entering their second NFL season, while Thorpe and Long are rookies.
