Marcel Reece Signs Contract Extension With Raiders
The Oakland Raiders have finalized a multiyear contract extension with fourth-year fullback Marcel Reece, the team announced Tuesday morning.

Reece, who had a career-high 27 receptions for 201 yards and two touchdowns in 2011, was slated to make $540,000 with the team this season as an exclusive right free agent. The terms of the new deal have not yet been disclosed. He’s widely considered to be one of the most versatile fullbacks in the NFL, as his history as a former college wide receiver allows him to function successfully as a wideout or in the backfield in a traditional fullback role.
Reece has two catches for 30 yards in the Raiders’ 22-14 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Monday night
