Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson did not practice Thursday, Dave Weinberg of the Press of Atlantic City is reporting. This is the third straight day Maclin has missed practice with a hip injury, while Jackson was out with a strained hamstring. No details were given by head coach Andy Reid about Jackson's injury.
Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson Sit Out Eagles Practice
Maclin's injury stemmed from the Eagles' season-opening victory, 17-16, over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Maclin did finish the contest compiling seven catches for 96 receiving yards and one touchdown. It's still unclear if the 6'0, 198-pound wide out will play in this Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens (1 p.m. ET on CBS).
If Maclin cannot play, the Eagles recently-signed free-agent wide receiver Mardy Gilyard would dress in his place.
