Darrelle Revis Unsure If He’ll Play In Week 2 After Concussion

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is unsure if he will be able to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to the concussion he sustained in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

Revis stated that he was suffering from headaches that made him feel like he was in a fog. On Thursday, the All-Pro corner said that he felt good and was going to allow the doctors to determine whether he should play against the Steelers.

On the bright-side, Revis was cleared for physical activity on Wednesday and stretched with the team prior to spending time on the exercise bike. However, he has yet to be cleared for practice.

According to head coach Rex Ryan, the corner will not play if he is not 100 percent and his status will be determined by Saturday.

It is believed that the injury was sustained when Revis attempted to tackle Bills' running back C.J. Spiller and was inadvertently kicked in the head by teammate Bart Scott.
