Vikings Vs. Colts, Week 2: Indianapolis’ Offensive Line, Playcalling Need Work

The Indianapolis Colts picked up their first win of the season on Sunday as they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 23-20. To get the win, they needed a clutch final-minute drive orchestrated by rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, who played well in what was his second career NFL start. The news was not all good for Indianapolis, which has some lingering issues as it heads into Week 3. SB Nation's Stampede Blue saw problems with the offensive line and the playcalling:

There is a lot of work to be done. The defense played well for the first three quarters, but in the fourth they looked pretty bad. The offensive line... well, they looked the worst. The coaching staff needs to improve. To win in today’s NFL takes aggressive play calling. I hope they learn from this.

Despite the pressure he faced from Minnesota, Luck completed 20 of 31 pass attempts for 224 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Indianapolis faces the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.
