Very little is slowing down C.J. Spiller early on in the 2012 NFL season. The third year pro is finally living up to his big-play ability and showing he was worthy of being a high draft choice in the 2010 NFL Draft. After only rushing for 844 yards on 181 attempts in his first two seasons Spiller has been a force in the first two games of 2012.
C.J. Spiller Is Averaging Over 10 Yards Per Carry
Spiller has rushed for 292 yards on just 29 carries in his two games during 2012, and he leads the NFL in yardage and yards per carry at 10.1. Spiller is also already one touchdown short of last year’s total of four. He has three touchdowns in two games, two of them coming during Sunday’s 35-17 win over Kansas City.
It has definitely been a career start for Spiller according to Buffalo Rumblings:
C.J. Spiller had his second career day in as many weeks, becoming just the fourth player in Buffalo Bills history to tally back-to-back 100-yard games to start a season. He racked up 123 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns. Spiller's vision and patience were on display and he set up blocks, allowing him to repeatedly pick up extra yards. He also added 47 yards in the passing game.
