The Giants beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday, but they may have lost tackle David Diehl for a significant amount of time in the process. Diehl had significant swelling in the knee on Monday, and underwent an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. Giants coach Tom Coughlin had the following to say on the extent of the injury:
David Diehl Has An MCL Injury
Giants coach Tom Coughlin has confirmed that tackle David Diehl has an MCL injury. He didn’t have any further details.

That’s the part I do know, but I don’t know the extent and hopefully that’s it. I can’t tell you anything more than what you are asking me. There’s an MCL, don’t know anything more, and I’m not going to be able to comment on anything else about the knee.
When Diehl left the game, Sean Locklear shifted to the right and UConn product Will Beatty took over on the left side of the line. Beatty hadn't seen much action this season, as he had been dealing with back issues for much of the summer. He'll likely see regular starts if Diehl is out of action for any significant length of time.
