Jones-Drew is going to need to work. Considering Mike Mularkey is able to fine him up to $30,000 a day - plus $60,000 for a three-day, mandatory minicamp -- Jones-Drew could be out $1.2 million this season. He is scheduled to make $4.45 million in 2012 and $4.95 million next year.

During the preseason there was a three-day waiting period before a player could practice in full with pads, such as we saw when first-round pick Justin Blackmon finally signed his contract in the preseason. That rule goes away after the first preseason game, so it is no longer in effect. Jones-Drew will practice on Monday, in full, bearing he is in shape.
