Andy Dalton, Bengals Hold Off RG3’s Redskins, 38-31

Cincinnati’s offensive output and the lack of offensive line protection from the Redskins led to Washington losing its second game in as many weeks. The loss has writers at the SB Nation blog Hogs Haven worrying about the team’s nightmarishly bad secondary for the next few days.

Hogs Haven lists many other things that will give it nightmares after its team’s second straight loss in its post-game reaction.

The Bengals improve to 2-1 on the season while the Redskins fall to 1-2, having lost two in a row.

Fantasy studs: Andy Dalton and A.J. Green were a powerful tandem for fantasy owners on Sunday. Dalton had 19 completions for 328 yards and three touchdowns. Green had nine catches for 183 yards and a touchdown. Robert Griffin III had another productive fantasy week, throwing for 221 yards and a touchdown on 21 completions; the rookie also ran for 85 yards and a touchdown on 12 rushes. Williams injured his knee when attempting to plant his foot to make a block. It buckled in the turf, leaving him in serious pain.

He was tended to by trainers and helped off the field. After being looked at on the trainers table, he has started to test it out by walking around on the sideline, which is obviously a good sign.

The four Yahoo experts all put their reputations on the Redskins. Despite Cincinnati making the playoffs last year, the Bengals aren’t getting much love from this group.
