NFC West injury report: Beanie Wells injures toe, severity uncertain

The Arizona Cardinals might be without their starting running back for a short time as Beanie Wells recovers from a toe injury.

Wells hurt his toe early, but by and large hadn't been effective against the Philadelphia Eagles, recording only 18 yards on eight carries. Meanwhile, his substitute, Ryan Williams, came in and averaged 6.4 yards per carry, putting up 83 yards on 13 carries. It's not clear how severe Wells' injury is, but he claimed to have sat out three weeks with a similar toe injury at Ohio State.

Also for the Cardinals, defensive end Darnell Dockett strained a hamstring. Nick Eason is his backup, although it's unclear whether Dockett will miss time.

Nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga may miss time for the San Francisco 49ers after turning his knee late. Patrick Willis left the game against Minnesota early as well, but appears to be fine.

The St. Louis Rams were more or less injury free in their loss to the Chicago Bears: Kendall Langford left the game at one point, but he's okay, while Steven Jackson showed no effects of a groin injury.

Doug Baldwin sat out Monday night's game against the Green Bay Packers with a shoulder injury -- it's unclear whether he'll be ready for the Seahawks' next game.
