Ravens fans give refs standing ovation

The crowd in Baltimore for Thursday night’s game between the Ravens and Browns gave the real refs a standing ovation when they returned to the field for the first time since the lockout ended.

In about 30 minutes, Ravens fans will probably be looking to kick the refs off the field for a bad call against Baltimore, but for a few minutes before Thursday night's game against Cleveland, the refs were appreciated.

The real refs are back, and the crowd in Baltimore gave them a standing ovation.

He’s not shy about soaking it in either. The next time he hears from those Ravens fans, it probably won’t be so nice.

There’s 70 years of referee experience on the field in Baltimore, the first game back since the lockout ended.
