Cam Newton dances the ‘A-Town stomp’

Cam Newton scored a touchdown and did his own version of the A-Town stomp.

Last week Cam Newton was criticized heavily for continuing to use his trademark "Superman" celebration, even while the Panthers were being dominated by the New York Giants. This week, the game is decidedly closer, as Carolina and Atlanta are locked in a tight battle, but that doesn't mean Newton is going to become humble.

Thus far, the Panthers' QB is hurting the Falcons on the ground more than through the air with his arm. This was no different. Set up with a series of runs, he finally broke into Atlanta's second level as he lowered his shoulder and drove into the end zone. There have been times today where Newton hasn't been able to escape the pass rush, and his normal improvisations haven't worked, but on designed runs like this one, he's been very successful.

Following the touchdown, Newton (an Atlanta native) knew just how to get under the skin of the local crowd: dance the A-Town stomp.

This won’t do much for Newton’s relation with Atlanta fans, but who cares? The NFC South could use more bad blood.
