The Baltimore Ravens and left tackle Bryant McKinnie are caught in a contract squabble, which could lead to the 11-year veteran's possible release from the organization, multiple media outlets are reporting.

Already once Tuesday the 6’8, 354-pounder announced his unofficial release from the Ravens, admitting to the Baltimore Sun he’s was no longer a part of the organization. However, it seems McKinnie jumped the gun a bit, as both sides have resumed negotiations.

It’s still not clear how much McKinnie’s contract is worth and what a restructuring of his contract is going to be.

Since the beginning of training camp, which featured McKinnie coming in out of shape and missing the first week with a back injury, the organization hasn't been happy with its starting left tackle. Despite the inner conflict, it was expected that McKinnie would start in Monday's season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
