Marques Colston Sits Out Practice With Foot Injury

Saints wide receiver Marques Colston missed Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury, but he is expected to play on Sunday.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston sat out Wednesday's practice with a left foot injury. There is also no word exactly when or how Colston suffered the foot injury.

Kromer mentioned that Colston is expected be back out at practice on Thursday, so having him miss Wednesday's practice was more of a precautionary reason more than anything else. Colston is going to be in the lineup on Sunday, as the team opens up their regular season at home against the Washington Redskins. In fact every player on the Saints injury report from Wednesday is expeced to suit up on Sunday.

Good thing for the Saints that Colston will be able to play, because after all of the turmoil they have gone through this off season they did not want to go into their season opener with one of their star players sidelined.
