NFL Picks And Predictions: Bills Vs. Jets

The Bills’ matchup with the Jets is likely to be one of the most hotly contested games in Week 1, and pickers are almost evenly split on the game, with Buffalo earning the slight edge.

Vegas made the New York Jets Jets slim favorites in their season opener, but a majority of experts seem to be siding with the Buffalo Bills heading into the early AFC East clash.

Seven of eight pickers at CBS Sports sided with Buffalo, with the holdout being Pete Prisco, who calls for the Jets to win a “defensive battle,” 17-16. All three pickers at Yahoo! also went with the Bills, as do users of Yahoo!‘s pick’em pool.

ESPN’s 12 pickers were split down the middle, while users of ESPN’s pool also sided with the Bills. Notably, Merril Hoge, Ron Jaworski, and Mark Schlereth went with the Bills, while Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter, and Mike Ditka picked New York, as did former Jet Keyshawn Johnson.

Machines were split evenly: ESPN’s Accuscore predicted the Jets will win, while CBS’s Prediction Machine went with Buffalo.
