The Kansas City Chiefs announced their new coaching staff for the 2013 season on Friday, including new offensive coordinator Doug Pederson and new defensive coordinator Bob Sutton as well as 10 other coaching hires.

Doug Pederson and Bob Sutton are the new offensive and defensive coordinators of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Pederson, 44, played 13 seasons in the NFL before entering the coaching ranks. In 2009, he joined Andy Reid's staff in Philadelphia as a quality control coach for the Eagles before becoming the team's quarterback coach for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Sutton, 61, has been a defensive coach with the New York Jets since 2000 when he was hired away from the United States Military Academy where he served as the head coach of the team for nine seasons. In New York, Sutton was originally a linebackers coach, but was the team's defensive coordinator from 2006-2008. In 2012, he served as linebackers coach and assistant head coach for the Jets.
The Chiefs hired Andy Reid as head coach on Jan. 4 following a 2-14 season in 2012.
