The season has ended for the Denver Broncos, but for offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, the excitement may be just getting started. The coach has been linked to a number of teams, with the latest report being that he'll interview with the San Diego Chargers. Previously, McCoy was said to be a target of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills.
Mike McCoy rumors: Cardinals, Chargers interested in Broncos’ OC
The Chargers are the latest team to pursue the man at the head of Denver’s offense.

Under the direction of McCoy and with the talent of Peyton Manning, the Denver offense was top five in virtually every category in the 2012 regular season. The team totaled 481 points, 30.1 per game, second only to the New England Patriots. McCoy has also shown versatility in his game, most notably in building the Broncos offense around Tim Tebow in Denver's ultimately abandoned experiment.
However his interview with the Chargers turns out, McCoy is likely to have number of offers to consider. The Cardinals are expected to drive hard for his services, reports Ian Rapoport. He adds that the Cardinals are expected to keep Ray Horton on as defensive coordinator, with Arizona having turned away interest from other teams.
