The Philadelphia Eagles interviewed Ken Whisenhunt for their head coach position Monday, according to Mike Garafolo of USA Today.

Whisenhunt is on the market after being fired by the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 31. Whisenhunt has interviewed for four head coaching jobs this offseason, according to Garafolo.

The Eagles are looking to replace Andy Reid, who they fired on Dec. 31. Reid coached the Eagles for 14 seasons before being dismissed at the end of 2012.

In the second year of a team dubbed “The Dream Team,” the Eagles went just 4-12 and finished in the cellar of the NFC East.

Reid led the Eagles to the playoffs nine teams, including a trip to Super Bowl XXXIX in 2004. It was the Eagles’ only Super Bowl appearance under Reid, but the team went to five NFC Championship games.

Whisenhunt was the Cardinals' coach for six seasons. He was 45-51 overall with the club, with two playoff trips. Whisenhunt and the Cardinals went to Super Bowl XLIII in 2008, but lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
