2013 NFL schedule: AFC East

To the victor goes the toughest schedule. But a long string of first place schedules hasn't stopped the Patriots over the last decade and change.

Winning the AFC East for the fourth consecutive year, and 10th time since 2001, the Patriots will again draw the remaining AFC divisional champions of the division they do not play. The AFC East goes against the AFC North, so along with the Ravens, Steelers, Bengals and Browns, New England will take on the Denver Broncos at home and the Houston Texans on the road.

The Dolphins finished second, so they add the San Diego Chargers to their home schedule, and will travel to take on the Indianapolis Colts.

The Jets pick up the third-place schedule, meaning they'll host the Oakland Raiders, and head to Tennessee for a road game with the Titans.

Buffalo finished last in the AFC West, giving them a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and a road game at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

One of the intriguing matchups in this schedule will be the Dolphins at Colts game, featuring two of the top three quarterbacks taken in the 2012 NFL Draft. Andrew Luck pushed Indianapolis back to the playoffs, and Miami's Ryan Tannehill helped the Dolphins improve a healthy amount in his first year.

Of course, there's Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, who have faced each other seemingly as often as they've faced their respective division opponents. The Patriots defeated Manning's Broncos 31-21 in Week 5.
