THE PATRIOTS ARE MATT DAMON WORLD CHAMPS

The Patriots may have lost to the Ravens but they’re still winners in Matt Damon’s book, and that’s the only book that matters.

Well let’s just get this straight up front: The Patriots never would have lost to the Ravens if they’d been healthy. That means Rob Gronkowski healthy, Aqib Talib healthy, and Steven Ridley not obliterated into limbo late in the fourth quarter. If they’d all been 100 percent, there’s no way the Patriots lose that game. So says MATT DAMON, who was interviewed on his way through an airport.

“Lotta injuries,” Damon said. “They couldn’t beat us full strength.”

If you think about it, the Ravens didn’t even really win then.

Did they?

More from TMZ:

...when Damon was asked who he’s rooting for in the Super Bowl -- the Ravens or the 49ers -- he still refused to acknowledge defeat ... saying, “I’m going for a healthy New England team, that’s the best team in the country.”

Look America: It really doesn’t matter who wins between the Niners and Ravens, or who won this past weekend, because a healthy New England team is the best team in the country according to Matt Damon. They’ve already won the MATT DAMON WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, if you will.

So cheer for whoever you want, but if you want to be with the real winners, you should probably think about getting like Matt Damon and cheering for the New England Patriots next Sunday. The WORLD CHAMPION New England Patriots.
