Wagering on every little bit of minutia surrounding a huge sporting event -- from the coin toss to Beyonce's hair style (curly or crimped?) -- is a Super Bowl tradition. Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans this Sunday is no different, but does add a few bonus lines for bettors due to the game's unique circumstances.
Super Bowl prop bets: How long will the Harbaughs’ post-game meeting go?
Brothers will meet on the field following Super XLVII, one a winner, one a loser. The real question, however, is how long will they talk?

Mainly, we’re talking about brothers manning opposing sidelines as head coaches in the Super Bowl for the first time ever. Jim and John Harbaugh are taking the whole sibling rivalry thing to a new level, and, naturally, you can bet on how this will affect routine segments of the game. In what will surely be of the most anticipated meetings ever, OddsShark has the over/under for the Harbaughs’ post-game handshake, more likely hug, set at 7.5 seconds.
As the game nears -- here are Wednesday’s practice reports from SB Nation’s Baltimore Beat Down and Niners Nation -- the intensity no doubt will continue to ratchet up, making it hard to gauge just how dialed up each Harbaugh (especially San Francisco’s Jim) will be at the conclusion of the contest.
In the grand scheme of things, 7.5 seconds isn’t a very long time but, in terms of a post-game hug, especially after football’s biggest game, it seems like a fair place to set an over/under. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the embrace go under, with the brothers saving their words for a time away from all those cameras. But, if it lasts longer, you can bet it will probably move Jim Nantz profoundly.
