The five finalists for the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Year award have been announced, and the list is, unsurprisingly, dominated by offensive players. All three rookie quarterback sensations from this season -- Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins, Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts -- are on the ballot, along with running backs Doug Martin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Alfred Morris of Washington.
RGIII, Russell Wilson candidates for NFL Rookie of the Year Award
Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson are among the five candidates for the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Year award.

All five contenders for the award were nominated multiple times for the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week award throughout the season, and each player won the award at least once; RGIII led the pack with six wins in seven nominations. Each player won the Rookie of the Week award at least once.
The vote for the winner is being held at www.nfl.com/rookies and the winner will be announced during the NFL’s awards special on Feb. 2.
This particular award is not related to the AP NFL Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year awards, though all five members of the list are likely in the running for the Offensive Rookie of the Year honor.
