Seahawks vs. Redskins score: Seattle take lead, 24-14

Scoring 24 unanswered points, the Seahawks have dominated the second half.

The Seattle Seahawks took the lead for the first time in Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins. With just over seven minutes remaining in Sunday's Wild Card playoff. Then a Redskins' turnover allowed Seattle to gain possession in the 10 yard line, and kick another field goal.

Marshawn Lynch ran for a 27-yard touchdown, on that saw quarterback Russell Wilson sprinting down the sideline to lead-block for Lynch, allowing him to score.

The touchdown put the Redskins in a precarious position -- their quarterback, Robert Griffin III was clearly hobbled with a leg injury, limping as he attempted to run Washington's read-option plays. Electing to keep him in the game, his leg bent on the next drive -- taking him out of the game. Meanwhile the Seahawks have been on a roll since the second quarter, scoring 24 unanswered points. It remains to be seen whether Mike Shanahan can win with Kirk Cousins.

A dominant first quarter has given way to a spate of Seattle scoring plays, and now the Redskins are hoping they can return to the offensive form they showed in the first quarter. With Robert Griffin III banged up, this is easier said than done.
