Some of the game’s best running backs and wide receivers are on the injury list this week. Here’s the latest on their status.

Running backs
SEA (5-0) vs. TEN (3-2), 4:05 p.m.
Lynch has been in and out of practice this week with a hip injury that has him listed as questionable on the Seahawks' official injury report. The team has not disclosed the specifics of the injury, and head coach Pete Carroll has stated that he expects Lynch to play today. If Lynch is limited against the Titans, expect backup Robert Turbin to carry the load for Seattle.
Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders, hamstring
OAK (2-3) @ KC (5-0), 1 p.m.
The Raiders' feature back suffered a hamstring injury early in the team's Week 4 loss to Washington and sat out last week's contest with the Chargers. While hamstring injuries are notoriously slow to heal and prone to re-injury, McFadden has practiced this week and stands a good chance to get the nod today against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. McFadden's return would come at an opportune time for Oakland, whose backups Rashad Jennings (hamstring) and Marcel Reece (knee) are also nursing injuries.
C.J. Spiller, Buffalo Bills, ankle
BUF (2-3) vs. CIN (3-2), 1 p.m.
Spiller played through an ankle injury in the Bills' Thursday night loss to Cleveland in Week 5, and despite having 10 days to rest is listed as questionable for today's game against Cincinnati. All indications are that Spiller will suit up today, but with or without an injury, it appears Buffalo's platoon at RB with Fred Jackson will continue.
NE (4-1) vs. NO (5-0), 4:25 p.m.
Ridley has been back at practice, albeit on a limited basis, after having missed New England's Week 5 loss to Cincinnati with a knee injury. Ridley is officially listed as questionable for today's showdown against the Saints, but early reports indicate that he will play. If Ridley doesn't take the field, or if he is limited, backup LeGarrette Bount would get the nod at RB.
Wide receivers
Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions, knee
DET (3-2) @ CLE (3-2), 1 p.m.
The Lions' All-Pro WR was a surprise scratch last week against Green Bay due to a knee injury but returned to practice on a limited basis late this week. While this is encouraging news, Johnson has been dealing with swelling of the knee and is considered a true game-time decision for Detroit this afternoon when it faces the Cleveland Browns. Johnson's potential absence, of course, has fantasy implications not only for owners who carry him on their teams, but also for those who rely upon Matthew Stafford at QB, as last week's performance against the Packers attests.
Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals, hamstring
ARI (3-2) @ SF (3-2), 4:25 p.m.
Fitzgerald has been hampered with a left hamstring injury since straining the muscle in practice before the team’s Week 2 contest against Detroit, and although he has not missed any game action, he is now listed as questionable for this afternoon’s divisional matchup with San Francisco after aggravating the injury this week. Even if Fitzgerald suits up today, this is an unsettling situation for Cardinals fans: since hamstring injuries are particularly prone to reinjury if not completely healed prior to participating in athletic activities, this may be an ailment that he will have to deal with for much of the season.
Andre Johnson, Houston Texans, shin
HOU (2-3) vs. StL (2-3), 1 p.m.
Johnson suffered a deep shin bruise in the second quarter of the Texans’ Week 3 loss at Baltimore, with and MRI confirming that there was no bone damage as a result of the injury. Johnson, who is listed as questionable for today’s game against St. Louis, has played despite the injury the past two weeks, but continues to deal with pain upon contact and movement of the affected area. Rookie DeAndre Hopkins would stand to see increased playing time today if Johnson is limited.
Stevie Johnson, Buffalo Bills, back
BUF (2-3) vs. CIN (3-2), 1 p.m.
Johnson suffered a back injury 10 days ago in the Bills' loss to Cleveland, forcing him to leave the contest, and he is listed as questionable for today's game with the Bengals. In addition, the Buffalo WR has been dealing with a death in the family, missing three days of practice earlier this week. All of this adds up to a game-time decision for Johnson, and even if he plays, his fantasy status is clouded by the Bills needing to start Thad Lewis in place of the injured E.J. Manuel at QB.
