NFL picks and predictions, Vikings vs. Giants 2013: Giants picked for first win
The Giants ugly season might finally become slightly less ugly in Week 7.

The New York Giants are winless, but they've shown signs of progress the past two weeks. A Week 7 matchup with the Vikings and new quarterback Josh Freeman may represent their best chance yet to pull a victory. Freeman is the third starter in four games for Minnesota. Combine that with New York's home field advantage and there's reason to believe Tom Coughlin's crew could finally get off the snide.
The majority of the pundits think Eli Manning will be able to settle down and get the win. The folks at CBS Sports are eager for a Giants win, where New York is the unanimous pick across the panel. ESPN has tempered its enthusiasm a bit, but the Giants still have a healthy 10-2 lead amongst the experts. The SB Nation panel isn't as set in as the other sites, but the Giants still edged out a 3-2 lead in the predictions.
The Giants are also favorites on the sports books. New York opened as 2.5-point favorites, and that lead has increased to 3.5 points, according to Oddsshark.com.
