Sam Bradford injury: Rams QB will undergo MRI on knee

Things went from bad to worse for the Rams on Sunday.

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford suffered a knee injury on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

Bradford injured his left knee and will undergo an MRI on Sunday night. The Rams are worried about the injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Bradford has been inconsistent so far in 2013, but the Rams don’t have much behind him at quarterback. A significant injury to Bradford would derail an already tough season for St. Louis.

Prior to the injury, which occurred late in the fourth quarter of the Rams’ Week 7 loss to the Panthers, Bradford was 21-30 for 255 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Kellen Clemons came in to replace Bradford and completed two of four passes for just 19 yards. Needless to say, the Rams are in rough shape without Bradford under center.
