49ers vs. Jaguars 2013 final score: Niners roll to 42-10 win
There were no surprises in London, where San Francisco dominated the Jags for an easy win.

The 49ers wasted no time jumping out to a big lead. Frank Gore opened the scoring with a 19-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, capping an eight-play, 76-yard drive.
From there, Colin Kaepernick took over. He scored rushing touchdowns of nine and 12 yards in the second half, fitting a two-yard touchdown pass to tight end Vernon Davis in between them as the Niners opened a 28-point lead. Kaepernick scored three touchdowns in a game for the first time since Week 1 against the Packers, when he also set a career-high in passing yardage with 412 yards.
The Jaguars then mounted their greatest attempt at a comeback, scoring a field goal and touchdown on either side of the half to make it 28-10.
Frank Gore added his second touchdown of the game on a two-yard in the third quarter.
The Niners' defense got in on the scoring action in the fourth quarter after linebacker Dan Skuta scooped up a fumble and returned it 47 yards for a score.
Fantasy studs and duds
Kaepernick came up big, throwing for 164 yards and a touchdown, plus another 54 yards and two more scores on the ground. Frank Gore finished with 71 yards and two touchdowns.
The Jaguars, as usual, were a fantasy wasteland. Maurice Jones-Drew had respectable numbers, rushing for 75 yards and adding 47 receiving yards, but he did not score.
Did they cover?
The Niners entered the game as 16½-point favorites, according to Oddsshark.com, and easily covered the spread.
What’s next?
