Running back Beanie Wells tried out for the Baltimore Ravens, but unfortunately things turned ugly when he tore his Achilles tendon, sidelining him for the remainder of the season, per the Baltimore Sun.
Beanie Wells injured Achilles during Ravens tryout, per report
The former first round pick is injured after trying to catch on with the defending Super Bowl champs.

Wells was hoping to earn a spot behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce on the depth chart, but the injury will certainly keep him from doing that. The former No. 31 overall pick from 2009 has only played for the Arizona Cardinals in his career, where he amassed 2,471 rushing yards in four seasons.
Once a standout at Ohio State, Wells never made much of an impact in the NFL. His best season came in 2011, having his only 1,000-yard campaign with 1,047 to go along with 10 touchdowns.
Wells has always been injury-prone, playing 16 games in his rookie season and never again. Last year, Wells only suited up for eight games, rushing for 234 yards on 2.7 yards per carry.
