The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed starting cornerback Leon Hall on injured reserve Tuesday, according to Adam Caplan of ESPN. Hall tore his Achilles in a Week 7 matchup against the Detroit Lions and the injured reserve is without the return designation given the point of the season and the severity of the injury.
Leon Hall injury: Bengals place CB on injured reserve
The Cincinnati Bengals have placed cornerback Leon Hall on injured reserve.

Hall has been a starter for the Bengals all season, and he was playing well before sustaining the injury. He also missed two games with a hamstring issue this season. Adam Jones has moved into Hall's starting spot.
The seven-year NFL veteran also tore his Achilles on Nov. 13, 2011, and was able to return in time for training camp the following season. He’ll get an extra month to try and get ready this time around. He was able to practice on the first day of training camp and played the full season, into the playoffs.
The team also waived defensive end DeQuin Evans and signed linebacker J.K. Shaffer, according to Caplan.
